   Those men are quite cruel to the female lead and she responds quite often like a abuse victim with trauma responses. So reader’s be ready to watch her be put in various situations because of them and their manipulation of her and her emotions. Some of the things that those men do to her directly put her in dangerous situations and her actions of trying to protect herself follow her (she is also guilted over what she had to do in her circumstances, like taking pills to prevent pregnancy in order to avoid being charged for treason against the emperor!)

   Also something to take note of is that there’s missing content that you will have to guess about what happened and some chapters have panels out of order, most chapters are done fairly well but translations are through various translators who didn’t coordinate the character names well with how they are spelled (you can still figure out who’s who but it’s one of my pet pevs so I wanted to mention it for others who are the same)

   All in all so far the story is great for what it is and the characters personalities are consistent and responsive to cause and effect developments in the story as well as how they interact with others and their respective personality traits (unlike some stories that forces events without considering how people react based upon their personality and their life experiences or circumstances). Some people and their personalities are revealed more slowly than others but as they are they continue to match up with what they have done throughout the story.
