Don’t expect to have the same vibe as the OG. As we know how OP Sohu can get, we kind have already a great pattern in our mind. The story is indeed interesting. The fast pace is because, there is no worth in make the reades pass through the same “learning” about gates, hunters and everything else.
The plot is the focus. And so far…at chatpter 13 it is already given us new and additional dynamics to the Shadow Monark’s son powers!

I think everyone is hyping this up because the OG one was so good (literally just finished re reading two days ago). So far, this one isn’t as good. The pacing feels a bit fast and weird. However, at ch 13 I’m getting the vibe of where the authors want to go and it’s a bit interesting. I’ll stick by it, but don’t expect it to be as top tier as the OG (what spin off ever is, though?)
