i can’t find a single good thing on this, it feels like the author is testing things it wound’t surprise me if this was her first work

you know, it’s only 5 chapters in, but the sheer lack of care both I and seemingly the author give about these characters is already obvious. There is one-dimentional, and then there’s this. The throwaway trauma of 12 YEARS of slavery and abuse by the FL, the obnoxious over performance of the father, the selfishness of the ML…. There have been dozens and dozens of new releases in the last few months. I’d recommend checking those out instead.
