Why can’t women in these comics build themselves up without a man helping them. Not every FL should coincidentally have a rich hot noble in their back pocket. Why can’t romance happen after she accomplishes a way to succeed and heal from a breakup? I think an ML would be impressed if a FL got away from a bad relationship or family completely on her own.
Gramps there, maybe should switch successors, but even if that happens she’ll have to give up running her shop. I hate these comics because FL is always supported by the ML in some way during the divorce and while establishing a business based on a passionate hobby. The authors try to make it seem they can balance both roles, but it’s not possible. Like in Dr. Elise, the empress being a surgeon is going to be limited.
