Gosh, I don’t know if I like him at all. Sir, if you quickly leave to reclaim your throne than maybe you can make those dreams come true, but staying by her side as a former slave and asking to be her lover endangers HER. You have no position or power here and is actually being a burden and selfish. I can’t imagine how messed up his mental state is after going through all that he’s been through. I want him to get his mind right first before trying to pursue her because I’m getting to many red flags. Dude needs therapy, not a romantic fixation

Usually I’m like “yes, rewrite the story!” But in her case, everyone around her is a ticking bomb, and it’s just a matter of who will kill her first. I’d just bounce at this point. She has the magic and know-how to be on her own, so that would be the safest way to change the story.
