A Fake Princess’s Survival Diary - Chapter 36

I can’t with oblivious female leads. She doesn’t introduce Emily and ML under the right circumstances (After he chokes her and Emily is understandably upset about it), she doesn’t stop then from fighting, doesn’t try to foster at least a basic amount of mutual civility by either talking to Emily when she often goes way to far, spends more time with the Ml then necessary, and is surprised when Emily has no feelings for him. She replaced Emily and became his caregiver, introduced him after he attacked her, and she should know how protective Emily is over her. She could have talked to her privately and inform Emily on how horrifically abused he was and that he accidentally attacked while asleep out of fear, or something instead she gives a lame lie.

She actually takes away the opportunity for Emily to sympathize with him because she covers him choking her with such an obvious lie and tells her nothing about his background as a slave, leading Emily to believe that the princess is being to kind and needs someone like Emily to defend her.

Emily is also seeming to be classist to me, which is surprising. She doesn’t seem to exhibit much sympathy in the scenes she’s in, but usually it’s when she’s griping about the ML that she feels she has to protect the princess from, and the princess is making her dye that ugly hair color that offends me. Why not a beautiful chestnut brown or black? Anyway, dude needs to go home and handle that business with the throne. She’s doing no one a favor keeping him their when his stepbrother comes, but again she’s doing nothing. And we all know he will find some way to be where he shouldn’t be.

Honestly I think I’m tired of everyone but the fiancé. ML needs a psychologist, Emily also needs to relax as well as that aunt and her daughter, ML needs to go home, FL needs to stop enabling him and understand that her actions has ruined the relationship with the original FL and ML unintentionally because every change she does has meaning, and I want the fiancé to be with someone who will actually appreciate him.
