@wait what If it’s any consolation, it looks like the artist was on a time crunch. Its possible the draft for this chapter didn’t have a horse in it, meaning all the angles were made without that in mind. Someone wanted a horse so it was hastily added. They know that’s not how people ride horses, but they didn’t have the time to do it properly so they just slapped something together. I bet the artist is trying not to think about how awful this chapter looks 😅

OK, kids, just for reference:
Lets charitably ignore the lack of a saddle–even the Mongols used stirrups, ya’ll.
However, if you find yourself riding double (on an athletic horse, slowly, over short distances), do not put the heavier person on the horse’s rump like that. You can maybe get away with a child in that position. Otherwise it’s better if the lighter person bears whatever discomfort occurs riding in front, maybe across the ‘driver’s legs.
Why? Well, if you’re on their rump, you’re pressing down on the horse’s hips and pelvis as those bones move–not ideal for their joint health. Move forward just a bit and All Your Weight comes down on the least supported part of their spine–and their kidneys. (Ovaries too, if you own a mare. If she’s in estrus, she might well try to get rid of you since she’ll be having inflammation in that area. At the very least you’ll have to deal with cow kicking as she reflexively tries to roundhouse the ‘predator’ causing her pain).
You want the seat of your saddle, and your weight, on the widest part of their ribcage, so your weight doesn’t interfere with their shoulders/hips and is distributed over the widest possible area. Furthermore, modern saddles (at least English) are designed to pretty much get the weight off the horse’s spine entirely, distributing force to the ribcage and stirrups. This is especially important if you ask your horse to carry, say, double the usual amount of weight.
I realize that I’m talking to the wrong audience and it’s a fine point, but…*whimper*.*cringe*.

she lost her parents, and her supporters, her stepmom is on the throne now, she wasn’t taught swordsmanship, she doesn’t have even 1 maid, moreover, she is a timid person not pathetic…..she did her best to ran away when she needed as this is what she can do…..the mc is strong doesn’t mean allother female character needs to be strong
