You are entirely correct, @B.M – makes no sense whatsoever. I bet the reason they can’t see the spirits or talk to them anymore is because of that cruelty and lack of emotions. How can you possibly connect with a soul when you’ve had to cripple yours till the edge of ego death for hundreds of years?
