@Blue Master it could be a possibility what you said, then the professor is killing nobles because he hates them, and young girls are vulnerable and easy targets…very plausible
But, my personal guess is different: the targets weren’t random young noble girls. I think his victims were all the daughter of the nobles involved in the abuse/ killing of his young sister. He probably is very intelligent, organized, discrete, super charming and good at manipulating frail minds. He might’ve had a job that granted him information/investigative skills, so he found out who were the nobles involved in his sister’s death and planned to take revenge on those jerks by killing their young daughters So, he found that this school would be the perfect place to target all of the daughters, and became a professor at there. Then, he killed them one by one with a high accurate plan and execution that wouldn’t leave any evidence, but bodies to be discovered…also he used the same method that his sister aiming to leave a message of his revenge to the ones responsible for his sister’s death that: “Your daughters died because of what you did to my young sister. Now you’ve payed the price” … he wanted to make them pay “an eye for an eye” and suffer from loss and guilt, just like he did. Probably he fells no guilt of killing innocent girl cause at all cause: he thinks he had all the rights to avenge his sister in any way he see fit; also the girls were, of course, the wrong ones or maybe just unlucky, since their are those sinner bastards descendentes 🕵🏻♀️
