Don’t even compare those two cos I can see where you are going. The story line of that story you’re speaking of and this one is different, so don’t compare them. For goodness sake, there is nothing new under the Sun. But this manga has a very original plot. If you don’t see it, I do.

Despite what happened at the hunting ground, the powerful ducal household security is inexistant and the staff is composed only of blind servants/maids: an unidentified woman with commoner clothes can enter the domain without being stopped at all, find straight her way to the ballroom where everyone is conveniently gathered for the party, and call the duke “father” with all witnesses around.

Moreover I bet we got a nasty white lotus here.
And Camilla is not a “fake”, as her position as step-daughter is very clear from the beginning. Althought we don’t know yet who her real father is. I guess the author did not pointed out the story of the ring heirloom for nothing.
