Maybe not in THIS manhwa, but lets face it–there are plenty of historical “biological dads” who have tried or succeeded in killing their biological children (or used them to death) both legitimate and otherwise, and sometimes the women who were carrying them. That’s part of how this story starts, even–it’s explained away by metaphysical woo woo, but she’s murdered multiple times by her biological father in the other timeline.
In THIS manhwa, it’s treated as impossible for a bio dad to really not care about his kids. In reality, the murder of Grace Brown at Big Moose Lake inspired several novels, chief among them being ‘An American Tragedy’. I grew up 20 minutes from the old Gillette Skirt Factory.

He’s saving her. There’s no way she’s not his daughter. Probably bad guys tried to kidnap her or something and he cut them down. No way her biological father would attack her, he knows she’s his kid after seeing her mother’s ring on her finger
