@Maguna No she did always die early – the manwha has shown her dead at around this age multiple times when the Emperor was thinking about his past lives. Based on the Prince’s behaviour and the stereotypical black speech bubble used normally for venomous words, I assume he’s some sort of abuser/murderer with a pretty face. The fact that she wasn’t fawning over him at the academy like all the other female students probably led to him being obsessed and then possessive once they got together.

I love how blunt and forward she is. It’s always bothered me to have characters that won’t speak their minds even to their own partners. It’s such a breath of fresh air she actually speaks her desires. It might take her a moment, but that’s perfectly fine
