I feel a lot of conflicting emotions about the male lead and female lead’s relationship, all of the trauma that she went through and the conflicting memories that she is experiencing is emotionally tormenting.
Trauma is no joke, it doesn’t just go away or gets better, you just learn how to cope and the way you perceive and respond to everything changes, sometimes in nonsensical or strange ways.
Is being with him really the best thing for her?
Wouldn’t it be better for her to fall in love with someone else?
I know this is just a story and not real but I wish there were more stories where they don’t fall back in love with their abuser and they find happiness with someone else or on their own, and for the abuser to suffer their loss and have to let go.
I prefer healthy and healing relationships the most.
I am still reading this because I am already invested in it so far 😢😥😓😫 I have to see how it ends now, unless something crosses my tolerance limit and I end up dropping it.
