what I’m able to gather is that with out the stars contract its like a incomplete body try using her powers while incomplete it backfires an causes even more damage which lead to her death in her first life with all the massive pain now with the contract of stars I’m guessing it completes the circle so that her powers work properly without destroying her in the process an rescarring like her first life did so its like the stars take the brunt of any backslash using her powers brings but instead of the wielder taking it the star does just how i interept it but I’m guessing that’s the major gist of it
