Kinda agree with the comments. She seems “so smart” but doesn’t do the basic minimum of common sense decisions, it’s all to enable forced plot lines to facilitate drama rather than anything more believable. We dont see her reporting to the police about her assault, nor telling the hospital or ANYONE around her the truth, just constant topic avoidance in order to argue with the characters instead of simply being honest. Lies always root themselves out, and having official documentation of both government police and medical records that would SHOW PROOF OF A DRUGGING etc, ugh. If it’s so widely known that her fiance treats her badly within the family’s staff, then why is everyone so willingly naive to it? Frustrating when the plot has to be dumbed down to make the lead seem smart.
