Its not an okay read (86 chapters in) i would rate it 1/5 1.5/5 if drunk and my reason is as follows:
WARNING WORD VOMIT lol
The author pretty much made a super convoluted chain of events for no real valid reason which could have all been circumvented by just revealing the truth early on which granted would have caused a civil war again but it would make for a far more interesting story than oh she is putting up with random bullshit for no real valid reason oh and heres some random ass romance scenes at critical points that could literally ruin everything but plot armour so its all good (its not its fucking stupid) then ontop of just constantly potentially ruining the entire plan of getting revenge and becoming all powerful that the FL has a CROWN PRINCE attempting to murder a DUKE publicly at an OFFICIAL event after said duke pledged loyalty to the 2nd princess (the star of the empire) is a LITERAL public declaration of war and by no means would EVER and i mean EVER be gotten away with no matter how fucking corrupt the government is theres literally a thing called intrigue (or espionage or any of the numerous other names for it) as to why that wouldnt fucking work like u cant just publicly kill a duke then say I WONT APOLOGISE I DID NOTHIGN WRONG REEEEEEEE IM A DAREN!!!!! no thats not how that works that crown prince and that duke would go to war meaning 2nd princess vs crown prince in a civil war which literally would have the ENTIRE population as well as some nobles backing the 2nd princess over the crown prince which would have been way easier to go about doing early on and skipping all the useless shit in between its rare that i read something so bad its still somehow good and thinking back on it i know why because the FL for the most part is consistent (besides her random bouts of stupidity and fucking the duke in the worst of moments possible) she is strong willed does as she pleases etc and thats good i like that but the ML isnt really redeeming he is pretty fucking useless to the point the 2nd ml is way better in almost every single aspect and honestly this entire story could have 90% of it cut out and it would honestly be 100 times better thats bad thats not something that should be a thing.
