I agree with you. If they explain it (which they probably won’t), they might go along the lines of ‘once the ink dries you can no longer see it’ or explain it with some weird impossible reason

It’s turning too silly, the plot I mean. Makes little sense but I guess they need to fill gap as Angela without Rona is useless idiot

Hollldd uppppp. This plot point makes no sense and is waaay to convenient. First? How did the empress know how and when to go to the meeting place? Jayna already took the message and tampered with it (put holy water). Even if somehow Jayna returns the paper, the message has clearly appeared and the empress would immediately know that she has been compromised. That means somehow, magically, Jayna and the prince managed to write the same message on the same kind of paper (that is undoubtedly unlikely as the paper is used for espionage) and the same kind of ink (unlikely for the same reason), mimicking the same handwriting (probably can trace), and put the new paper back in the same night. Waaaay too unlikely.
Secondly, are you saying that High Priest did not check the room prior to the meeting? For security reasons. There might be workers or even potentially homeless orphans hiding there. Waaay too convenient…
