I don’t really enjoy having so many unknowns at the same time. I get it because it wouldn’t make sense for MC to know these things or find out about them immediately, but as the reader there are just so many mysteries I can handle before intrigue becomes annoyance. Like, who is this lizard guy? What’s up with his cousin’s guild? What’s up with the two chinese girls are they allies or enemies? Etc etc.
