This is truly frustrating… so you get a second chance at life and instead of using everything you’ve got to make a better life for yourself… you’re just going to let someone else control it again? You know ppl are shit yet you let them walk all over you again? I get she wants to save her parents but she has so many options available to her yet isn’t using it wisely? So the other chick can not only have her parents love while she wants it but then can have all the love from her bio family too and all the crap that comes with it… ridiculous

I think the reason she is acting like this is because her no1 priority is to save her bio family and keep them safe, and she is afraid she will put them in danger if she doesn’t act the way glasses asshole wants, she can’t really trust anyone as she couldn’t trust her own fiance or parents people who she never imagine would betray her before, she doesn’t really have good support, it may be aggravating but it’s completely normal what if she tells ijun or his grandpa the truth and they turn their backs on her the 1st chance they get like her family and fiance did, what if they retaliate against her bio family, she doesn’t really have a strong support system or power to act bolder, plus her past trauma, you as a reader have a diff view from her own, the problem is that they don’t try to move the timeline faster to where she gets some real freedom power to be herself without having to fear her bio father and mother dying.
