It’s scary as heck to get 104 fever. Requires an emergency room, but you can survive it. Had a horrid case of pneumonia that got that high once, was hospitalized for 2 days with constant IVs with a strong fever reducer.

Actually you technically can survive at a fever of 105 as long as it doesn’t last too long.
My Mama’s fever when she had Covid was 103 for a couple hours. Though it did induce some delirium 🤔 but since she slept 3 days a high fever like that would make sense
