Let’s set aside that this is fiction for a second. It’s entirely possible for someone to have hair that long if they are genetically predisposed to having strong thick hair. My niece was born with several inches of hair and received several haircuts before she was 1. Hair grows at roughly 6 inches per year so at 12 she would have the potential to have 6 ft of hair. This would be well within the limits of what she has here. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
