Actually, I felt it was weird when she was still wearing her dress when she woke up after her first night. Maybe they didn’t actually do it.

That lowered my opinion of him and his lack of recognition of the situation or what not…..
His decision to at least continue to check on the children brought it up some, granted he doesn’t get full points because of the conditions of the building and resources for the children!😤
Ok so the og girl died from a heart attack because of drinking and scared of the wedding night. And the fl came in the morning after the wedding night soooo did he do it with a corpse??? Or was the marriage not consummated, did he just sleep next to a dead body? I don’t think the author thought about the timing.
