@Feryel i want to correct you, the arabic numbers originally called hindu-arabic numbers originated in ancient India by Indian mathematicians. During the trade practices, the number systems were adopted by arab, hence earning the name hindu-arabic numbers

Arabic numbers have nothing to do with the hindu numbers ,Arabic numbers are based on the number of the angles, like 1 has one angle , 2 used to be written like the lettre z with two angles..etc
