So was that world fake??? Like an illusion??? If not she just up and vanished??? She in a coma again or did the building exploded and vaporize her??? If it was real, what about a goodbye to her friends and family? This was a terrible way to end things.
If it were me writing it, I’d have made the world real. She would have long since informed her friends and family about her adventures, they obviously wouldn’t really believe her but support her. When the time came, a meet and greet at the coffee shop between her earth friends and family & he husband would happen leaving them both shocked and apologetic. The god would ask her via telepathy to pick her world, obviously she would choose to go back. The god would then tell everyone that “it’s time to restore balance and that she has to go now. Upon which so to not disturb the timeline too much, as far as the world and records are concerned, she will have died in the coma and have already been laid to rest.“ They would say their bittersweet goodbyes to each other as a see through (can see the fantasy world) portal opened up and as she walked through it, her appearance would change too the fantasy one, leaving her friends/family stunned. They would then tearfully wave goodbye to each other as the portal closed. On earths side upon closure of the portal the world would then shift into the corrected reality in a sweeping/fading manner leaving the building empty and vacant, Everyone but those involved would now only know the corrected reality. On the fantasy world side they walk towards the sun with her friends waiting for her near a gazebo in the garden the background. THE END___
