You don’t put an open brazier on a rug!😭
One, it’s a massive fire hazard.
Two, even if you don’t set it on fire (wool= hair = quite fire-retardant, but cotton and linen will go up like dry kindling), the ash and charcoal falling through the sides will fall on the carpet/rug, get very dirty and probably damage the pattern.
