Just because he’s a dude and the bird is a woman (and we KNOW for a fact the bird is possessed by a soul of a woman) doesnt necessarily mean he “falls for her”. He’s a warrior. To have someone to listen for their stories is quite rare, don’t you think?
He’s not falling in love, he’s just appreciating the existence of a listener. He considers the bird as his ally; likely friend. Isn’t friend precious too?
