So basically becoming a companion is basically like becoming someone’s mate in an omegaverse…I don’t see how it is beneficial to become someone’s companion in this world all you will be is more connected and intune with the others emotion and feelings from a far distance which idk why you would need that when u can just be there for them and ask (the majority of theese couples live nearby eachother so it’s only a benefit for long distant committed partners) but you already get depressed when your loved one dies why would you want to feel more alone and die. It’s like a permanent connection idk if I’d want the burden of another person’s emotions on top of mine…just get officially married bro.
