So basically, the reason she ran away despite having all that love and care was because he said that her bearing a child would be irrelevant because he doesn’t need one. But surprise, surprise she got pregnant and he hadn’t know because he was probably at war at the time as stated that he engaged in several a few chapters back. So, she probably thought that now she was with child, he’d kick her out and especially since it’s winter, she’d have no where to go unexpectedly. I’m assuming she took money along with her and prepared in advance before leaving. So she had to protect her child by all means and that contract he signed with her is probably for political agreement marriage and he had no one else to choose so she supposedly volunteered to take up the role for diplomatic reasons. Thus, the lovey dovey began and they fell in love eventually! (I’m not sure if this is correct but I just thought of it from the top of my head, apologies if it’s not!) @Mr. Pepe Julian

Why did she ran away despite having all love and care? And who on earth made a contract like that with some maid? It looks like Author tried to sync plots but somehow it turned into garbage. It’s not like the baby was in life threatening danger. Stupid. Doesn’t make any sense.
