it’s such a fucking pain in the arse to see dumb heroines like that going ‘oooooooh I love him and I want him, so I’m going to… push him away! because I’m a poor apple who should take the broom out of her bottom rather than act like a scared turkey in front of a wonderful guy who’s proved to me 10,000 times that he cares about me!
BUT NOOOOOOOOON! for the sake of a well-worn plot device, we’re going to go through another 20 chapters of ‘yes but no’ and seen-and-seen misunderstandings before this crane finally says ‘ah well yes but actually I love him and OOOOH SURPRISE he loves me too, so we can love each other….’.
You should think about making intelligent heroines once in a while…. It’s a good thing the rest of the story and the drawings are cool, because the rest of it is just fucking boring….
