Just reading the comments about FL and MLs I get it..but I think what this story shows is that someone like Mathias who is used to having everything can’t handle not having Layla.. he hates that she avoids him…and he wants to make her suffer.. unfortunately the world is full of people exactly like him, if they can’t have someone then nobody else should… honestly the best thing for her is Kyle, as he will give her the stability that she needs. Unfortunately the story is focusing on Mathias as ML…I just hope the chapters are long and doesn’t drag on for too long. I’m getting tired of seeing Layla humiliated by him or cloudine. I hope Mathias steps up as her protector.

I think if these two men have to give up everything to have Leila, Mathias would do it, but Kyle wouldn’t. although mathias has more to lose compared to Kyle.

i don’t like kyle and matias. layla already told kyle that she want to be his friend, nothing change. layla also know about kyle’s mother intention to married kyle with noble daughter. but kyle, he is not respect her decision, and come to his father and told him that he want to marry layla. if his father tell uncle bill abt that, how can layla rejected him? he should know, that he still don’t have anything. better for him to gain everything for himself, be patient and then come to layla again. maybe layla, will change her mind and also worth his mother cuz she have her name as a teacher. maybe his mother will allow him marry her.
matias has everything, but he’s cunning and manipulative. he always find ways to manipulate situation to have layla. he still don’t know what is love which annoy his perfect life and emotion. poor layla. just an ordinary people betwen 2 selfish people even claudine and kyle’s mother will make her life hard.

That Clodine thing( l don’t like her)once said she hates yellow.Of course she didn’t reference to the color.Nor the canary.She’s clever enough to know that there is no love or affection between her and the duke.Not that she cares about it of course..She’s too useless for that. Money and status are her whole life.What a selfish, jealous and arrogant woman.I don’t know what will come from Kyle’s confession to his father about Leila,but one thing is sure:Life will be a hell for that poor girl..
