Solche, the author, has added some small scenes to the main story and the side story of the book . It’s available on Naver, but hasn’t been translated to English yet. So, the artist is just following the new added scenes. The story is still pretty much following the novel. Don’t spread misinformations please. The creator is already getting hate because of misinformations about story.
I’m not reading this again, the story’s trash. The author tries to make us feel sorry for the MC with her sad past, but then makes us hate the male lead. Also, the author clearly doesn’t care about Kyle at all. Honestly, whatever happens next doesn’t even matter. I bet there’s gonna be some dumb Kyle’s mom villain arc or something, but whatever. The more I read, the more I just ended up hating the author. Feels like they don’t even care about the characters they created. If I met the author in real life, I’d probably slap them, honestly. Yeah, I cried a little while reading, but by the end, all I felt was pure hate for the author. So I’m done with this story.
And the funniest part? The MC’s mom left her dad for some richer guy, and her dad ended up dying. But in the end, it’s just gonna be the same thing with Kyle and the MC—she’ll leave him for the male lead, just like her mom did. That’s why this story’s garbage and doesn’t make sense. It’s like the author’s trying to write a story with emotions they’ve never felt themselves. Its like a man is talking like and acting female.
I understand why Van J added something; in the novel, it’s at an exciting point, and I think he wants to build excitement and shock for the next chapter. That’s why he avoids revealing it in this one.
Fantastic chapter! Though half of the scenes aren’t in the novel, it seems like Van J wanted to treat us to more Layla and Matthias—no complaints from me! ❤️

Layla your feelings are too obvious to us readers if and only if Matthias could read your face, you wouldn’t have to feel guilty about that kiss in front of Claudine and your heart wouldn’t shatter to see them together. Layla hates Matthias’s indifferent emotionless look because she doesn’t want to be pathetic in front of Matthias, she doesn’t want his sympathy. She hates his indifferent look since she picked the coin in front of him when she was 12 and she even felt relieved when duke wasn’t there to see her reciving coin from Claudine. This is one of my fav chapter so far.
