Something I’ve noticed with a lot of Chinese adaptations is that the children are always so disproportionately big when compared to the adults, have overly round “cutesy” faces and when the kid is a boy they are always super smart and gifted…meahile the girls are just…there they are never as smart as their brothers or gifted (they just look and act cute, while being the spiting image of the mother)
