And after that immediately bringing bubblegum head into the duchy without a proper mourning of his legal wife. If she didnt divorce him he would still be treating her the same, he thought she would love and forgive him forever so his tiny pea sized brain and -100 EQ cant understand why she would divorce him after he betrayed her and treated her like crap.

I think the point is not so much “bringing him in at the right time” as “not getting him involved at all unless my buddy the Crown Prince dies”.

Ikr! I don’t think the current one is really corrupt or anything. And I don’t think that boy has a particular interest to risk his life for power and money. A real friend would ask for their opinion, or help send him off to a foreign country so he could live peacefully and not get involved.
