I have a theory. Why is pink haired brother no longer susceptible to the mind control but the older brother is soooo mind controlled? My theory is pink haired guy full on feels guilty and no longer has negative thoughts about Penelope. But older brother is still judgy towards her so that little negativity was enough to mind control him. Otherwise why did the real sister fail to brainwash the prince? Cause the prince doesn’t have ANY negativity to award Penelope, he’s just more logical rather than let love control him, but he does love her. The prince is the reason my theory is like this. Cause think about it, the Duke who feels the most guilty towards his adopted daughter isn’t being all lovey lovey with his real daughter, he genuine wants Penelope to be happy so again he also fits the category of cannot be mind controlled. This is all just a guess though.
