I like how the artist subtly shows who is possessed by Yvonne. Derrick was still possessed until it hit him that Penelope almost died, not Yvonne. The maid that later came to Derrick and asked him to visit Yvonne was also possessed.
Even in the flashback, Yvonne was clearly holding on to the shard that helps her manipulate people to do what she wants😬
