while everyone else had an easy time recovering and coming back from the brainwashing, derrick continuous falling into the brainwashing in and out is just hilarious. this is a reflection of his character. i’m sure the low relationship points is one of the reason he’s so easily manipulated. but the relationship points don’t just come from penelope. he has a hand in this relationship too. and he messes it up at every turn
Derrick’s logic isn’t logic-ing. If Penelope prepared the poison for Yvonne, how would she have known Derrick would bring her to Penelope’s day? How would she have known to prepare similar glasses if Yvonne was never meant to be there? And as the Prince said, if Penelope staged it for attention, on a day where she has all the attention, again how would she have known Yvonne was going to show up? The whole blame game predicates the assumption that Penelope knew Yvonne would be brought to the party. We know that Yvonne planned it, but she’s also stupid because why bring poison to act like Penelope planned it if Yvonne wasn’t supposed to be there and Penelope wouldn’t have known Yvonne would make Derrick take her? Yvonne is not very good at being a mastermind.

As of the slutty yvonne & stupidass derrick (brainwashed or not)..wish them painful death together forever. Like BYE both of you! Eclis can stay rotting in jail or be free to leave the empire & live at other country. I can understand his painful past & the fact he was brainwashed..but his love is too much for Penelope. I partly blame Penelope for making him that way as she didn’t think through about his feelings. Like gosh..i thought she play this type of game a lot. Surely you have to think of their feelings & connect yourself to the character is the best way to enjoy the game🤦🏻♀️ but whatever! I hope she focus on the CP & the Magician in the future..doesn’t matter as potential partner or friendship, just care for that bonding forever! As for Reynold..he’s up to 3rd in list but only as brother figure. Not a potential partner. His tsundere-self is still there, but his thoughts of Penelope is getting much better than before.
