Tbh the fl might feel grateful but her life wasnt bed of roses here, the taunts , hatred gazes, constant blaming and bullying from the staffs (there’s no way the ducal people didnt knew she was being bullied) . Poor old penelope i feel bad for her, she was just love starved child who mistook the basic supplied like food and home as love and was grateful. This situation was worsecoz of her submissive nature which later turned into aggression.
The dereek, he was pure hypocrite and prolly a multiple personality disorder. Like what you are acting like u care one time and proceeds to scofff at her next time. Being controlled or nah, he was practically the same
Even the slave idk , he was manipulated but okay
The cp is best till now, he look at her as a fellow human, he might looks rought and i get it he lacks empathy ( due to his childhood) showed the most genuine reaction. I lobe you cp, only you wrre my favvvvv
