I am slightly annoyed with her (as many other MC.) not appreciating kindness of people around for tooo long. Like I get it, it’s not a real world for her, but it’s such a common trope in all these comics that person lack of appreciation and giving back even if they assume people are not real, they still are experiencing their fake emotions like it’s a real world for them. However, I still love this story, art, and lore is good, it’s one of the best ones. It’s just such a too common story line for all these MC to have that “victim” feeling and completely not caring how others might feel when she throws herself and just caring about only her goal in this world and not others feelings or their problems. Hating world I get it, but she also got so much more love here already compared to her previous life, so far it feels better here even tho it’s a harsh world of magic and fighting monsters, so kinda strange for her throwing these words. Again I can understand it but it does go too long with that “I only care about my goal here”

@scarlett, of course not. She’ll choose our Callisto over those ruin family, i hope the author also includes the scene when pene goes to the hospital, talk to her family, and “free” her previous body (after *spoiler* she had a daughter with Callisto)

I am not tired of penelope but tires of her depression. Even if i understand that is difficult for her to go through that much. But now she has a father, a brother and a prince who love her. Why on earth coming back to her abusive old family in her hard old world ? … If would prefer if she is depressed because is scary to fight Laila than depressed because she cannot come back to her old life where she was alone and abused.
Anyway… I loved last panel draw. As always, this artist has an amazing and monstrous talent 🙂
