No matter how much I want to read an enemies to lovers romance set in a law office I just can’t stand how the author is treating this FL. She’s capable, hardworking, smart but she’s written like an incapable shrew. It’s inevitable that the ML will be her “savior” when she could clearly save herself. And her father! Don’t get me started.
I’m dropping this and I never drop anything. My head canon tells a story where she leaves her family firm, starts a practice from the ground up and becomes very successful (beacuase she’s smart and good at what she does). She has a meet cute with the white-collar criminal practice that shares the same floor and they fall in love making this patronizing a55 the 2nd male lead.
