I dropped a few months ago and few chapters ago and just got caught up again. The author is definitely dragging it, especially since the king/emperor offered to help her. She said some dumb spilll about helping herself but she’s not doing anything regarding that. Yes her making money is important but honestly she could have just asked for a small favor from the imperial family, to get divorced atleast. But no, she wants to suffer in that house. It makes no sense.
I really like this story but fucking he’ll the pacing absolute garbage. I’m not saying the divorce should’ve happened by now but we have absolutely nothing and we’re nearly 40 chapters in. I feel like the author is dragging certain parts so the plot just seems stagnant. I mean the only thing they’ve managed to do is reiterate that stupid fucking plan of hers like 10 times over. Yes we get it you’re trying to get him to divorce you but fucking hell, that’s all this plan has amounted to. Repetition of the plan.
