The only thing Hazel did ‘wrong’ according to that adulterous bastard is caring for a poor orphaned bastard child, who was being abused right under her father’s nose. She shouldn’t have done that. Olivia was not even her child. Worse, Olivia was proof of her husband’s infidelty, but she cared for Olivia anyway. She is a real mother who knows the sufferings and miseries of a child who lost her one and only safe space. It is very rare to see those kinds of mothers, even in real life. Duchess Hazel has my utmost respect, eternally.
