Interesting takes on other people comments.
I often felt the same way, but at end of the day, everyone is entitled of their opinion, as long it’s not disrespectful to the artist, author and readers.
Most people opinions are based on what they know, experience and sometimes their loved ones experience.
Sympathy and empathy are not reachable for most.
But kindness and tolerance are. That’s my message to you all 😉

It’s interesting (but pretty depressing) to watch the comments–see how many people trash FLs (and some ‘villainesses’) as dumb, spineless, stupid, blah, blah, blah…
I wonder how many of them overlap with the people who comment “Know your place, [bitch/slut/gender-specific insult of your choice]”–*just like* a third-rate idiot Ojou.
It’s so obvious that these commenters either never realized that they more than likely had a grandmother who was impoverished, trafficked, abused, exploited… That, or they’ve compartmentalized it so hard that they’re now totally incapable of relating to the immigrant, the trapped, the desperate.
Sure, maybe she’s pathetic.
And maybe your spoiled, selfish and so dull that you can’t even imagine being in her situation.
They say stress makes you stupid, and studies of brain structure back that up.
