Yeah her hair could have changed color over time or the description of his daughter could be wrong i dont know both seem possible

It’s true! I had bright blonde hair as a child but it started getting darker as I got older. I currently have really dark blonde/light brown hair

if im not mistaken, blonde hair usually changes color as people grow older, it may appear blonde when she was first born, but now that shes older, she retained the recessive gen (eye color green) and her hair grew darker (auburn). im no expert on gen tho, so i might be lacking in details
