Kidnapping her now is probably a good idea, have her send letters to the elf emperor and act as a go between with the joint goal of getting rid of the evil uncle elf (Kiser or whatever the heck his name is).
She is extremely talented and valuable in many ways so I understand why they would both want her and I believe that they have both developed real genuine feelings for her….but playing tug of war with her is going to hurt her more because she is overly sensitive and caring towards everyone. It’s one of the few cases where I would suggest that they sit down and talk about who would really be best for her truly or they need to stop their aggression towards each other and share her.(she probably doesn’t consider the elf emperor as he has several other women instead and she really needs to have stability without other women trying to kill her for her position beside the emperor). Sharing her is really only if the emperor truly can’t let her go but having her stay with the dragon is actually safer for her, and having her or the emperor just visiting each other is probably the best alternative….
Personally though I want only the dragon to have her and the emperor to let her go for her sake.

Dam that don’t let go of me part kinda hurts to read. It’s happy that they are together but sad because we all know he will have to leave again. I mean he IS a wanted man after all.
