He really doesn’t deserve her and yes she is having a lie about a lot of things to protect him and the emperor. She’s already being tormented and I honestly don’t know how she is managing because I would have fallen apart or given up on both men completely (I know she is starved for love and affection so I understand why she is so susceptible to their game of tug of war, manipulating and guilt tripping her)
