@Katezchenn unlike you trigger-happy morons, he is trying to protect her daughter’s marriage and in proxy give her a happy life.
And yes @PingBug he did say some great stuff. Actually I leant a lot by reading this chapter. There are many qualities of Alec that are similar to me, and now I can take a step forward and become a better person becaus of certain things I read here.
