True, the FL brought this on herself.
She could have easily left from the start. The head maid coming in at the last minute was also disrespectful and she could have easily left for not even being welcomed properly.
I also don’t understand why she didn’t wear a dress, she clearly had no lack of pretty clothes and could have shown off her status more. Also, why did she go alone??? What was the point of assigning that brunette as a personal maid if you aren’t even going to take her with you to important places??? If anything, having a personal maid around to show off conveys wealth and a high status for having one’s needs attended to even outside one’s home.

Ummm I dunno, but I think she’s at fault as well. She gives that old hag a chance to find her fault. Sorry, but deliberately wearing trousers for noble tea party while knowing it’s uncommon and considered impolite is stupid decision.

Why didn’t she just leave? I mean seriously did they tie her up and drag her into the house or something. Leaving would’ve been easy, why does the author feel the need to make seem like she couldn’t leave? So stupid just to set it for some stupid drama.
