@Fast-Reader 89 the grandma is good. She is just unable to do anything to help Dimitri or his wife. I think she even wanted to help Dimitri’s mother, but couldn’t because she was a slave and was treated as the property of the Duke. I don’t think she is a bad person. She is just unable to do anything help Dimitri or his wife. I also think she might have orchestrated the deaths of the two sons of the former Duchess, making DImitri the only legible heir.
