my heart hurts, yes she was wrong for lying to him, he should never have put all his hope into one person however nor let her be abused just bc he was mad. the person he should apologize to is long dead and gone and he doesn’t even know. she deserved better even when she did lie she never mistreated his son or him and ofc she was volatile with the maid bullying her. she got set up fr and now he is sorry
