Doing the right thing now doesn’t make him a good person. He still had the intention to destroy this place and the children’s lives because they lied to him. But they were forced, threatened, and sometimes beaten. As the adult in this situation, he should have seen that their circumstances were dire and taken steps to rectify the situation. And also shown enough maturity to forgive the children for their lie because of their circumstances. BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT ADULTS SHOULD DO. Instead, in the last life we just got an a$$hole who threw a temper tantrum. And then hurt everybody.

i hate when regression manhwa do this, they show him as a bastard in the past life but a little thing change and he becomes a good person “protector of the children”, nha he is just with a better mood now before be basically killed a lot of children by throwing them on the streets
